1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Minine Inc ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the MININE PDF mobile application for iOS and any related services (collectively, the "App").
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can reach us at:
- Company: Minine Inc
- Address: 2942 Century Pl, Ofc 105, Costa Mesa, CA, United States
- Email: [email protected]
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the MININE PDF iOS application distributed through the Apple App Store and any associated web properties (including our website). It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services linked from within the App.

- Annotations, text input, form entries, and signature images you add to documents
- Text or document content you submit to AI-powered features (e.g., summarization, translation, Q&A)
- Feedback, support requests, or messages you send to us
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, language settings, screen resolution
- App Usage Data: Features used, interaction patterns, session duration, crash logs, and performance metrics
- Subscription Status: Purchase and subscription information processed through Apple In-App Purchase (we do not receive or store your payment card details)
- Advertising Data: Advertising identifier (IDFA, subject to your App Tracking Transparency consent), ad interaction data, and ad attribution information
C. Information Collected by Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party SDKs that may independently collect data as described in Section 10 below. These include advertising, analytics, and attribution services.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide Core Features: PDF viewing, editing, annotation, merging, splitting, compression, conversion, scanning, and OCR — all processed locally on your device
- Provide AI Features: Document summarization, translation, Q&A, and content analysis — which require transmitting document content to third-party AI services
- Process Subscriptions: Manage in-app purchases, subscription status, and restore purchases via Apple StoreKit
- Serve Advertisements: Display relevant ads within the free tier of the App
- Analytics and Improvement: Understand how the App is used, identify bugs, monitor performance, and improve features
- Ad Attribution: Measure advertising campaign effectiveness and user acquisition
- Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries and resolve issues
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
5. How Documents and Files Are Processed
This section is important for understanding how your documents are handled:
- Local Processing: All core PDF features — including reading, annotation, merging, splitting, page management, compression, scanning, and OCR — are performed entirely on your device. Your files are not uploaded to any server for these operations.
- AI Features: When you use AI-powered features (such as document summarization, translation, or AI Q&A), the relevant text content or document excerpts are transmitted securely to Google Gemini API for processing. This data is sent via encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Neither we nor Google retain the content you submit to AI features — it is processed in real-time and not stored after the response is generated.
Important: You should not submit highly sensitive, confidential, legally privileged, or classified documents to AI features unless you understand and accept that document content will be transmitted to a third-party AI service for processing.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following categories of recipients:
- Google (Gemini API): Document content submitted to AI features is processed by Google's Gemini API. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and their AI data usage terms.
- Google (AdMob): Advertising data, device identifiers (with your consent via ATT), and ad interaction data for serving and measuring advertisements.
- Meta (Facebook SDK): Ad value analytics data for measuring advertising campaign performance. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- AppsFlyer: Attribution and analytics data for measuring app install sources and user engagement. Subject to AppsFlyer's Privacy Policy.
- Our Servers: Aggregated and anonymized advertising analytics data for internal campaign performance analysis.
- Apple: Subscription and purchase data processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
7. Data Retention
- Document Content: Files processed locally remain on your device under your control. Content submitted to AI features is processed in real-time and is not stored by us or the AI service provider after the response is generated.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated usage and analytics data is retained for up to 24 months.
- Ad Attribution Data: Retained in accordance with the policies of respective third-party providers (Google, Meta, AppsFlyer).
- Support Communications: Retained for as long as necessary to resolve your request, and up to 12 months thereafter.
- Legal Obligations: Certain data may be retained longer as required by applicable law.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access and Portability: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data. Since most data remains on your device, you can delete it by removing documents from the App or uninstalling the App.
- Opt-Out of Tracking: You can deny App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission when prompted, or change this setting at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Ad Personalization: You can limit ad personalization through your iOS Settings.
- Manage Permissions: You can revoke camera, photo library, or file access permissions at any time through iOS Settings.
- Opt-Out of AI Processing: You can choose not to use AI features; no document content will be transmitted to third-party AI services unless you actively initiate an AI feature.
To exercise your rights or make a data-related request, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or other regional privacy legislation.
9. Permissions and Device Access
The App may request the following device permissions, each for a specific purpose:
- Camera: Used for scanning physical documents into PDF format. Not accessed unless you initiate the scan feature.
- Photo Library: Used for importing images to convert to PDF or insert into documents.
- Files Access: Used for importing and exporting PDF files and other documents.
- Notifications: Used for subscription reminders and processing completion alerts (if enabled).
All permissions are optional. The App will function with reduced capabilities if you decline any permission. We respect your choices and will never access device features without your explicit consent.
10. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each of which may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies:
- Apple StoreKit / In-App Purchase — Subscription and payment processing. Apple Privacy Policy

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk.
12. Children's Privacy
MININE PDF is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our company is based, and other locations where our third-party service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
